At Equissentials, we are proud to be a Canadian-owned equestrian brand and are pleased to offer shipping to customers throughout Canada, the United States and Europe.

We work hard to make shipping as accessible and affordable as possible while ensuring that our shipping practices remain sustainable for our business.

This Shipping Policy outlines our current shipping destinations, rates, delivery expectations, customs responsibilities and other information relating to the delivery of your Equissentials order.

1. Shipping Destinations

At this time, Equissentials ships to:

Canada
United States
Europe

Shipping availability may vary depending on the destination, product, carrier availability and applicable import or customs requirements.

If your country or region is not currently available at checkout, please contact us at hello@Equissentials.ca and we will do our best to assist you.

2. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated and displayed during the checkout process based on factors such as:

Shipping destination;
Package size and weight;
Products included in the order;
Shipping service selected;
Carrier rates;
Fuel surcharges;
Customs or cross-border requirements; and
Other applicable shipping costs.

Shipping rates are subject to change without notice where reasonably necessary.

We strive to keep shipping costs as affordable as possible for our customers while maintaining reliable and sustainable delivery services.

3. Shipping Within Canada

As a Canadian-owned brand, we are committed to offering reasonable and accessible shipping options to customers throughout Canada.

Shipping rates for Canadian orders will be displayed at checkout.

While shipping rates can vary based on destination and carrier costs, Equissentials will make reasonable efforts to keep Canadian shipping costs as affordable as possible for our customers.

Delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping service selected.

4. Shipping to the United States

Equissentials is pleased to offer shipping to customers throughout the United States.

Because U.S.–Canada cross-border trade policies, tariffs, duties, customs requirements and carrier costs may change, shipping rates for U.S. orders may be subject to change.

Equissentials is committed to doing its best to absorb increases in cross-border shipping and tariff-related costs where reasonably possible, rather than passing the full increase directly to our customers.

However, if changes in tariffs, duties, carrier charges, customs requirements or other cross-border costs become unsustainable for our business, Equissentials reserves the right to adjust U.S. shipping rates accordingly.

Any applicable shipping rate presented at checkout will apply to the order being placed.

We appreciate your understanding as cross-border trade policies continue to evolve.

5. Shipping to Europe

Equissentials currently offers shipping to select destinations throughout Europe.

Shipping availability and rates may vary depending on the destination country, carrier availability and applicable customs requirements.

Shipping rates will be displayed at checkout where delivery to the applicable destination is available.

International shipping rates may change due to carrier pricing, fuel costs, currency fluctuations, customs requirements or other factors outside of Equissentials' control.

6. Processing Times

Orders are generally processed within the timeframe indicated on the applicable product page or at checkout.

Processing times may vary depending on:

Product availability;
Order volume;
Pre-order status;
Product type;
Holidays;
Weekends;
Promotional periods; or
Other circumstances affecting fulfillment.

Processing time refers to the time required to prepare an order for shipment and is separate from the carrier's delivery time.

Pre-order products may have different processing and fulfillment timelines, which will be communicated on the applicable product page where possible.

7. Delivery Estimates

Delivery times provided by Equissentials or a shipping carrier are estimates only unless expressly stated otherwise.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside of Equissentials' control, including:

Weather;
Carrier delays;
Customs processing;
Border delays;
Transportation disruptions;
Holidays;
Incorrect or incomplete addresses;
Remote delivery locations;
High shipping volumes;
Government restrictions; or
Other unforeseen circumstances.

Equissentials does not guarantee a specific delivery date unless expressly stated.

8. Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided to the customer using the contact information supplied at checkout.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and ensuring that someone is available to receive the package where necessary.

Tracking information is provided by the applicable shipping carrier and may not update immediately after shipment.

9. Accurate Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

This includes:

Full name;
Street address;
Apartment, unit or suite number where applicable;
City;
Province/state/region;
Postal or ZIP code; and
Country.

Equissentials is not responsible for delays, additional shipping charges, returned packages or delivery failures resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated information provided by the customer.

If you notice an error in your shipping information, please contact hello@Equissentials.ca as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to correct the information before an order ships, but we cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has entered processing or been dispatched.

10. Lost, Stolen or Misdelivered Packages

If tracking indicates that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check:

Your delivery location;
Around your property;
With household members;
With building management or reception where applicable; and
With neighbours where appropriate.

You should also contact the shipping carrier using the tracking information provided.

Please contact hello@Equissentials.ca if you believe your package has been lost or misdelivered so that we can assist where reasonably possible.

Equissentials is not responsible for packages that are stolen or misplaced after being confirmed as delivered to the shipping address provided by the customer, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

11. Damaged Packages

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please document the condition of the package before opening it whenever reasonably possible.

For damage-related claims, customers may be asked to provide photographs or video showing:

The exterior of the package;
The shipping label;
Any visible damage;
Internal packaging;
The product as received; and
Any damage to the product.

Please retain the original packaging until your claim has been reviewed.

For equine care products, including the Equissentials Bath Set, damage claims must be submitted within the timeframe specified in our Return & Refund Policy.

12. Customs, Duties & Import Taxes

For orders shipped internationally, including orders shipped to the United States and Europe, additional customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees or other government or carrier charges may apply.

These charges are separate from the shipping fee displayed at checkout.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees or other charges imposed by the destination country or applicable authorities.

Equissentials does not control these charges and cannot guarantee the amount that may be assessed.

Customs policies and charges vary by country and may change without notice.

Customers are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the applicable import requirements of their destination country before placing an international order.

13. Customs Delays

International orders may be delayed while being processed through customs.

Customs processing times are outside the control of Equissentials and may vary depending on the destination country, shipment contents, documentation and applicable regulations.

Customs delays are not considered a failure by Equissentials to ship an order.

14. Refused International Shipments

If an international customer refuses delivery or fails to pay applicable customs duties, taxes, tariffs or other charges and the package is subsequently returned to Equissentials, any applicable refund will be handled in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

Equissentials may deduct non-refundable shipping charges, return shipping costs, customs charges, duties, brokerage fees or other costs incurred as a result of the refused shipment, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

15. Shipping Costs Are Non-Refundable

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated by Equissentials, original shipping charges are non-refundable.

For customer-initiated returns, customers are responsible for applicable return shipping costs as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.

16. Split Shipments

Where an order contains multiple products, Equissentials may, where reasonably necessary, ship products separately.

If an order is shipped in multiple packages, tracking information may be provided separately for each shipment.

17. Pre-Orders

Products identified as pre-order may have different shipping and fulfillment timelines than products currently in stock.

Estimated pre-order fulfillment dates are provided in good faith and are subject to change due to circumstances including:

Manufacturing delays;
Supplier delays;
Transportation delays;
Customs processing;
Product availability;
Quality-control requirements; or
Other circumstances outside Equissentials' reasonable control.

Customers placing a pre-order acknowledge that the product will not necessarily ship immediately.

Where a significant delay occurs, Equissentials will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant updates.

18. Shipping Rate Changes

Shipping costs are influenced by factors outside Equissentials' control, including carrier pricing, fuel costs, customs requirements, tariffs, international trade policies, currency fluctuations and other cross-border expenses.

Accordingly, Equissentials reserves the right to update shipping rates at any time.

We will always strive to provide transparent and reasonable shipping rates and, where possible, absorb increases rather than passing the full cost to our customers.

However, Equissentials cannot guarantee that current shipping rates will remain unchanged indefinitely.

19. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Events

Equissentials is not responsible for shipping or delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include:

Severe weather;
Natural disasters;
Fire;
Flood;
War;
Government action;
Changes in tariffs or trade policies;
Customs restrictions;
Border closures;
Carrier disruptions;
Labour disputes;
Transportation interruptions;
Supply-chain disruptions;
Manufacturer delays;
Pandemics or public-health emergencies;
Cybersecurity incidents; or
Other unforeseen events beyond our reasonable control.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant disruptions where possible.

20. Changes to This Shipping Policy

Equissentials may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our shipping practices, carrier arrangements, international trade requirements, tariffs, customs regulations or other business circumstances.

The updated version will be posted on equissentials.ca with a revised “Last Updated” date.
